The Center for Field Research and Analysis (CRAT) is a research and analysis unit developed and managed by an independent consulting firm, which provides programmatic and analytical support for humanitarian, development, and stabilization (HDP) interventions in Haiti.
CRAT is associated with the European Union project aimed at restoring basic services to vulnerable populations (Multisectoral Program for Resilience and Recovery of Social Services – PMRS), particularly within the Port-au-Prince Metropolitan Area.
CRAT’s objective is to produce ad hoc analyses, evaluations, and research to inform the development of HDP programs. Additionally, this unit provides independent contextual, social, economic, and security monitoring in the PMRS’s areas of intervention, with a particular focus on challenges and issues related to Nexus issues.
It synthesizes and analyzes existing knowledge and local perspectives to identify the factors and actors that influence the effectiveness of aid delivery in the country.
Finally, CRAT provides technical support for the development, implementation, and monitoring of supported strategies and programs, in line with established priorities.
